In Fort Myers, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Florida on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Uncle Rico’s consistently hits the mark. Being from NY, if there’s a pizza place in the Northeast worth trying I’ve probably had it and Rico is up there with the best of them. For about the past year I’ve come by about once or twice a week and I’ll grab a pie and I haven’t had a bad one yet. They deserve all the recognition.

Five stars honestly aren't enough. From start to finish, Uncle Rico's delivers one of the best pizza experiences I've had. It's not just the pizza that keeps me coming back, it's the people. I usually call my order in, and every single time the staff is friendly, patient, and never makes me feel rushed. If I have questions about a pizza, they're happy to answer them. They also give realistic pickup times, and they're consistently accurate. If they say it'll be 45 minutes, it's ready in 45 minutes. That kind of reliability is rare and very much appreciated. Now, let's talk about the pizza. Absolutely incredible. The undercarriage is perfectly baked with little to no flop, a great crunch, and a crust that's outstanding. Every ingredient tastes fresh, and the toppings are perfectly balanced so no single flavor overpowers the others. You can tell a lot of care goes into every pie they make. I've eaten pizza all over Florida, and I can honestly say I haven't found another place that compares. Uncle Rico's has one of the best flavor profiles I've ever had, and it's easily my favorite pizza in the state. If you're anywhere near Fort Myers, do yourself a favor and give Uncle Rico's a try.

If you’re a local or just visiting Fort Myers, Uncle Rico’s Pizza is a must-try! In my opinion, it’s the best pizza in town. My kids used to only want Domino’s and wouldn’t eat pizza from most other places, but Uncle Rico’s completely changed that..they absolutely love it now. The dining area is pretty small, so I’d recommend ordering takeout instead. You can easily order online through their website, which makes it quick and convenient. We’ll definitely be back!

Self proclaimed pizza snob. Tried Uncle Rico’s from someone’s recommendation. We had it delivered and it did not disappoint. Add the pizza rolls to your order. Our new favorite pizza in Ft Myers. Can’t wait to try the other specialty pizzas.

BEST PIZZA IN FLORIDA!! I've reviewed hundreds of places and this is by far at the top! ❤️ 🍕 This has been on my must try list for a long time now. Being over 3 hours away (6 hours round trip), I was really hoping this would be great. I've been let down tons of times as I've often been led to believe its better than it is based on pizza looks great on social, someone in a group recommends it or it wins some local poll on best pizza. Rico is the mastermind behind one of the most amazing NY pizzas I've ever had. I briefly saw Rico at Pizza Expo but didn't formally meet him at that time, as he was busy competing. It was great to finally meet him today! I knew I either wanted to try the Angry Burrata or the Vodka Stracciatella. Since this place is an organized madhouse because they are so busy all the time (and I now understand why), I opted for slices: ANGRY BURRATA Mozzarella, Ezzo pepperoni, Burrata, Mike's hot honey, Fresh Basil and Parmesan This was only $4.25, which still blows my mind. I spent $15.50 at Miami Slice on Vegas (Pepperoni Proper All Kicks) which is very similar toppings and Uncle Rico's was 100x better! It was so good, I had to order a 2nd slice before leaving
